Galaxy Blitz is a Play-to-Earn combat strategy game, in which players lead the descendants of humanity to forge a new empire.
According to The Guardian, although Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman predicted that AI would eliminate white-collar jobs on a large scale, a year later, a large-scale wave of unemployment has not emerged. The latest analysis from the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research shows that since ChatGPT was launched in 2022, the unemployment rate for occupational groups with high AI exposure rose by only 0.77 percentage points, lower than the 0.85 percentage points for low-exposure groups. Economists point out that AI's biggest impact currently is not reducing the number of jobs, but changing the nature of work—integrating functions, raising skill thresholds, and compressing new hiring. A ZipRecruiter survey shows that about 74% of employers have listed AI skills as an important advantage or a requirement. MIT Professor Paul Osterman warns that AI will accelerate the shift of enterprises towards outsourcing and contract labor, with about 35% of the US workforce already in an "easily replaceable" state; low-skilled workers may require public policy intervention for protection. Economists generally believe that the full impact of AI on the employment market will still take several years to manifest.
Research data shows that AI Agent Token consumption is 4 times that of ordinary conversations, while multi-agent systems reach up to 15 times; meanwhile, a 2025 analysis on AI-assisted software development found that the time engineers spend reviewing and modifying AI-generated code (accounting for 9% of programming time) is more than twice the time spent waiting for AI to generate code (4%). The author cited an economics paper by researchers from MIT, the University of Washington, and UCLA, pointing out that "the bottleneck constraining growth is no longer intelligence itself, but human verification bandwidth."
Y Combinator announced the open-source release of its internal multi-agent framework QM (quartermaster) under the MIT license. QM is designed for organizational collaboration scenarios, runs on Slack and the Web, and can be used for tasks such as searching internal materials, handling emails, managing code repositories, and tracking projects.

Odaily News: Newly minted Fields Medal winner Jacob Tsimerman has announced his departure from mathematics, halting new PhD student recruitment to pivot into the AI field, and will officially join OpenAI before the end of this summer. His goal is to find ways to control AI in order to curb this potential "civilization-level existential risk."Currently, security teams at major AI companies are accelerating recruitment of top scholars from outside the computer science industry. Anthropic has hired a Stanford economist and a philosopher from the University of Texas at Austin; OpenAI has recruited a group of leading mathematicians and physicists. In 2026 alone, at least 22 professors have chosen to leave or temporarily step away from elite institutions such as Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, and MIT to join OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google DeepMind. digital asset firm Galaxy Digital has launched a Bitcoin Quantum Preparedness Initiative, which will offer up to $5 million in developer grants, conduct research through Galaxy Research, and establish a Quantum Advisory Council composed of academic experts.Galaxy Digital stated that the initiative will fund work related to post-quantum cryptography solutions and expects to begin accepting grant applications immediately. The inaugural members of the Quantum Advisory Council include University of Calgary Professor Barry Sanders, MIT Sea Grant Knauss Fellow Damien Bérubé, and Boston University Computer Science Professor Eran Tromer. The initiative is reportedly aimed at what researchers call “Q-Day,” when a quantum computer could use Shor's algorithm to break the elliptic curve cryptography protecting Bitcoin, deriving private keys from exposed public keys, forging signatures, and accessing wallet assets. Old addresses and reused addresses face higher risks. A May report by quantum security firm Project Eleven suggested that a quantum computer capable of such cryptographic tasks is more likely to emerge by 2033, possibly as early as 2030, and estimated that approximately 6.9 million bitcoins are in quantum-exposed addresses. In June, Coinbase's Quantum Advisory Council urged developers to begin migration efforts, estimating the vulnerable supply at around 7 million BTC. (Decrypt)
