Genius Yield to Cease Operations; CTO Launches Open-Source Tool Genius Zero to Help Users Withdraw Assets

Genius Yield CTO Lars Brünjes posted on X that the Cardano ecosystem protocol Genius Yield is gradually winding down its operations. To avoid trapping user assets, he developed an open-source web application, Genius Zero (MIT licensed). Users can interact directly with contracts in their browsers to perform actions like unstaking without relying on the Genius Yield backend. Claiming rewards still requires a multisignature service operated by him personally, and applies only to rewards already funded on-chain. The existing fee structure for the DEX order book remains valid; any changes require signatures from three of the four founders and have not yet been approved. He cautioned users never to enter seed phrases or private keys on any website.
