Analysts: Bitcoin Power Law Model Releases Signals, Reference Target Price Could Reach $157,800

Crypto analyst Darkfost stated in a post that over the past decade, the amplitude of Bitcoin price fluctuations around the "Power Law" trendline has been gradually decreasing, with market cycle volatility trending toward convergence. The oscillator index peak has declined from +169 in 2018 to +102 in 2025, while its daily change standard deviation has fallen from 4.81 to 2.47, representing a drop of approximately 49%. Darkfost added that as of October 3, the model’s oscillator index stood at +34.5, with Bitcoin trading at approximately $84,700. Based on that day's model parameters, an oscillator index reaching +100 would correspond to a Bitcoin price of roughly $157,800, which is about 86% higher than the current price. He also noted that $157,800 is not a fixed target price, but rather a reference level calculated based on current regression parameters. If the Power Law trendline continues to rise in the future, this reference level will increase accordingly.

Peter Brandt: Bitcoin Could Reach as High as $600,000 This Cycle

Odaily reports: Veteran trader Peter Brandt says Bitcoin has likely bottomed out for this cycle and entered a new bull market. He has raised his cycle top forecast from the previous $250,000 to $300,000 to $300,000 to $600,000 by late 2029, adding that hitting $500,000 is "very likely."However, Peter Brandt warns that Bitcoin could pull back to $65,000 to $66,000 in early October to flush out momentum chasers. Brandt is also skeptical of XRP's investment value, calling it a "fool coin," and said that XRP having payment use cases and Ripple having banking partners does not necessarily mean its value will rise. Standard Chartered: Bitcoin Could Reach $126,000 by Year-End; Previous $100,000 Target Too Conservative

Odaily News: Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that the forecast of Bitcoin reaching $100,000 by the end of the year may be too conservative, and there is a possibility of challenging the previous all-time high of $126,000 before the year ends.On Friday, Kendrick noted that the recent Bitcoin rally has been primarily driven by short liquidations, while inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have also begun to recover. Given the currently low open interest levels in the market, more investors could re-enter as prices rise, providing further momentum for the rally."This is the first time this year that I've seen a risk that my year-end target of $100,000 may be too low," Kendrick said.Kendrick believes that Bitcoin's rebound momentum could accelerate further after October 6. Meanwhile, several market observers also believe the bear market may be nearing its end. Cory Klippsten, CEO of Swan Bitcoin, previously stated that Bitcoin could bottom out in October; Markus Thielen, founder of 10x Research, suggested that if the August monthly close stays above $63,000, it could confirm the formation of a bear market bottom. USDY Lands on BNB Chain, Yield-Bearing USD Assets Reach Millions of Users and AI Agents

According to official announcements, Ondo's tokenized U.S. Treasury yield note USDY (U.S. Dollar Yield Token) has now officially launched on BNB Chain, supporting instant minting/redemption and cross-chain bridging functionality. As a leading permissionless tokenized U.S. Treasury product, USDY's launch on BNB Chain, one of the largest and most active public chain ecosystems globally, marks the first time institutional-grade yield assets are accessible directly without permission. This launch is a significant step in USDY's multi-chain expansion, bringing yield-bearing USD asset exposure to millions of users and AI agents within BNB Chain's deep DeFi ecosystem, and achieving a dual improvement in capital efficiency and transaction speed through instant minting and redemption mechanisms. Users no longer need to bridge from other chains to directly hold yield assets backed by U.S. Treasuries within the BNB Chain native environment; for developers, USDY can also serve as high-quality collateral in on-chain lending, trading, and liquidity protocols, seamlessly integrating with BNB Chain native applications.

Analysis: Bitcoin Long-Term Holder Holdings Reach New All-Time High of 16.3 Million, But Average Unrealized Profit Remains Low

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated on platform X that the holdings of Bitcoin long-term holders (LTH, those holding coins for over 6 months) have reached a new all-time high, currently exceeding 16.3 million BTC. Their average cost basis is approximately $49,400, yielding only about 30% in unrealized profit at the current price, which is relatively low. In comparison, the net unrealized profit for long-term holders reached as high as approximately 340% in January 2025.Darkfost also noted that towards the end of the last bear market, long-term holders were collectively in a state of approximately 20% unrealized loss, and the market ultimately experienced a deeper correction. This suggests that the market could still see further corrections in the future, potentially pushing long-term holders back into loss territory. However, this is not necessarily a guaranteed repetition of historical patterns. He advises investors to prepare for both market rallies and corrections.

Multicoin: HYPE Could Reach $319 by 2028

Multicoin has published a report stating that the market is severely underestimating the value of Hyperliquid's native token, HYPE, and believes it still has over 400% upside potential in the coming years. The firm estimates that, in a base case scenario, HYPE's price could reach approximately $319 by 2028.Multicoin believes the current market is too narrowly viewing Hyperliquid as a fast-growing decentralized perpetual contract exchange, when in reality it is evolving into an "Everything Exchange" covering multiple assets and trading scenarios. The report states that at the current price of around $63, HYPE is clearly mispriced. Multicoin estimates that by 2028, Hyperliquid's annualized profits could reach approximately $80 billion. Valued at a 20x earnings multiple, this would correspond to a HYPE price of around $319.Multicoin also disclosed that it has been actively buying HYPE since February of this year, and HYPE has become one of the largest holdings in its liquid hedge fund. Recently, HYPE broke through $76 to hit an all-time high, driven by positive catalysts such as ETF inflows, strong protocol revenue, and aggressive buyback plans. It subsequently pulled back with the broader market and was trading around $62.47 as of Thursday afternoon.
