According to Bloomberg, data from market research firm Counterpoint Research shows that China's Yangtze Memory Technologies Corp (YMTC) surpassed Japan's Kioxia Holdings (Kioxia) in global NAND flash bit shipments in the second quarter of this year (June quarter), while further narrowing the gap with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, indicating that Chinese chip manufacturers are continuing to benefit from the tight supply of memory chips driven by AI demand.
