MetaMask Launches "Additional Protection" Feature to Prevent Transaction Preview Fraud

MetaMask has launched its "Added Protection" security feature, which sets transaction preview results as execution conditions to ensure that actual transaction outcomes in Ethereum and EVM applications match the previews; if they do not match, the transaction will automatically fail, and users will only incur network fees. The feature is enabled by default, is now available on MetaMask browser extension v13.45, covers 13 EVM networks supporting EIP-7702 smart accounts, and a mobile version will follow.
