Odaily News: Investment firm 1789 Capital, linked to Donald Trump Jr., is seeking to raise $3 billion for its second growth fund and has already secured about $2 billion from existing investors. It is reported that 1789 Capital currently manages over $4 billion in assets, with a portfolio that includes Anduril Industries Inc., Polymarket, and several companies under Elon Musk, such as X, xAI, and SpaceX.However, 1789 Capital plans to reduce the number of investments, increase the size of individual investments, and lead more funding rounds. Earlier reports indicated that 1789 Capital is considering leading a new round of approximately $1 billion for prediction market platform Polymarket, with a planned investment of about $300 million.
