According to Business Wire, Bitcoin operating company Nakamoto Inc. (NASDAQ: NAKA) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with total revenue of $35.9 million, of which the media and asset management business contributed $25.6 million, and the Bitcoin derivatives strategy contributed $10.4 million. The GAAP operating loss was $149.1 million, primarily driven by $105.2 million in non-cash goodwill impairment and $48.7 million in Bitcoin mark-to-market losses; after excluding the aforementioned non-cash items, adjusted operating income was $7.3 million, marking the first positive figure since the company transformed into a Bitcoin operating company. During the period, the company repaid approximately 45 million USDT debt and extended approximately 105 million USDT principal to June 30, 2027. As of June 30, the company held 4,467 Bitcoins, with a fair value of approximately $261.5 million, and a net digital asset leverage ratio of 56%.
