Ethereum Foundation Launches zkAPI: Supports Anonymous Payments for AI APIs, Replacing Identity Verification with Zero-Knowledge Proofs
The Ethereum Foundation, in collaboration with the Open Anonymity Project, has launched zkAPI, which is now live on the Ethereum mainnet. zkAPI allows users to first deposit assets such as ETH and USDC into an on-chain Vault, and then use zero-knowledge proofs to authorize API usage quotas, without exposing their specific payment identity to service providers.
