Analyst: UNI has pulled back over 30% from its peak; slowing exchange inflows may signal bottoming out.
Crypto analyst Darkfost stated on the X platform that Uniswap (UNI) gained approximately 370% from its June low this year. Its total value locked (TVL) surpassed $4 billion in September, marking an intra-year high, while DEX trading volume also peaked at $93.6 billion.
However, since peaking at $10.9, the token has pulled back over 30%. Driven by rising exchange inflows, UNI is currently experiencing a distribution phase. In late September, the Z-score for UNI inflows exceeded 4 on multiple occasions, with daily inflow amounts surpassing $40 million. Although current inflows remain relatively active, momentum appears to be weakening. Should inflows continue to decline, UNI could gradually form a bottom.
(Note: The Z-score, also known as the standard score, is a statistical measure indicating how many standard deviations a data point deviates from the mean.)
