Japan's 10-year government bond yield briefly rose to 2.945% this week, marking a nearly 30-year high and approaching the critical 3% level assumed in the Japanese government's budget. Rising yields are increasing pressure on government debt servicing, undermining Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's room to pursue large-scale fiscal expansion and growth investment. The Japanese government has allocated 31 trillion yen for debt servicing in the current fiscal year; if long-term yields remain above 3%, debt financing costs could significantly exceed the budget.

(SpaceX) closed at $140 per share, with a total market capitalization of $1.85 trillion, up 3.7% cumulatively from the offering price, successfully recovering nearly 50% of the post-listing pullback.According to recently disclosed 13F filings, as of the end of Q2 2026, Harvard University's Harvard Management Company (HMC) held total US equity positions of $4.26 billion, of which SpaceX accounted for the lion's share with 12.9351 million shares valued at $2.21 billion, representing a weight of 51.9%.The University of California system disclosed approximately $1 billion in SpaceX holdings; at the University of North Carolina system, SpaceX represents approximately 10% of the endowment fund (Odaily note: public information shows the fund is approximately $15 billion in size), primarily stemming from early joint investments with Founders Fund; Washington University in St. Louis has a holding ratio of 14%-16%, and its $13.4 billion endowment fund has benefited significantly from a direct capital injection in 2018 and indirect follow-on investments; Stanford University also holds substantial positions through top venture capital firms such as Sequoia Capital and a16z. Most of these universities entered when SpaceX was valued at only a few hundred million dollars in its early startup phase, fully capturing the valuation leap from the primary market to the secondary market, once again validating the core logic of ultra-long-term capital, exemplified by the Yale model, enhancing returns through venture capital. (Interface News)Previously reported: Harvard University holds a heavy position of $2.2 billion in SpaceX stock.
Nebex, an early-stage space fintech company founded by former Axiom Space CEO Tejpaul Bhatia, announced the completion of a $30 million seed funding round, led by Alphabet's Google Ventures. Nebex aims to build an online platform connecting global space industry transactions, matching U.S. space companies, foreign institutions seeking to procure or build space capabilities, and investors looking to participate in related financing, while charging fees from transactions. The project is reportedly seen as a combination of the "space economy + financial infrastructure." (Bloomberg)
According to MarketScreener, WISeKey International, a Nasdaq-listed company, announced that its subsidiary SEALCOIN has secured $4 million in strategic investment, with participation from The Hashgraph Group (THG). BIT has pointed out that the market is repricing around SpaceX's potential largest-ever IPO, with a target valuation of approximately $1.75 trillion. However, expectations in the secondary market have already been revised upwards to around $2.3 trillion, corresponding to a premium of approximately 34% on the Pre-IPO contracts traded on Binance and Hyperliquid. The market pricing logic has shifted from a "rocket company" to an "AI + Global Connectivity + Space Infrastructure Platform." As SpaceX integrates into the xAI asset system, its total addressable market (TAM) has expanded to approximately $28.5 trillion. This includes an AI-related market of roughly $26.5 trillion, a global connectivity network of about $1.6 trillion, while traditional space business accounts for only $400 billion. The core business, Starlink, generated $11.4 billion in revenue in 2025, a 50% year-over-year increase, with an EBITDA margin of 63%. However, its ARPU has declined from $99 to $66, reflecting the rebalancing pressure between growth and profitability structure. In the long term, the core of the market's bet remains the expansion of the space economy. The global space economy is expected to grow from $630 billion in 2023 to $1.8 trillion by 2033, with the integration of satellite networks, orbital data, and AI computing infrastructure seen as the main growth driver. SpaceX's current valuation is already highly discounting future expectations. In the short term, attention must be paid to valuation and liquidity constraints. However, looking at the medium to long term, the "AI + Space + Communications Infrastructure" convergence narrative it represents could still become one of the core themes in the next phase of the tech capital market.
on-chain card trading platform Fantasy.top has announced its decision to shut down after months of deliberation and exploring other options. Co-founder Kipit stated that the core reason for the failure was building crypto technology on top of a trading card game model, as the two are fundamentally incompatible. Crypto trading card games place financial value as the primary entry point for players, attracting investors rather than gamers. This leads the project to become about managing an economy rather than building a game. Furthermore, Kipit pointed out that issuing tokens before achieving product-market fit is toxic. In response to earlier accusations of refusing refunds, the official statement reiterated that since the business was self-funded through product revenue, investor funds were never touched. All pre-seed and seed round investors will receive full refunds. (theblock)
