Odaily reports: IBM has announced the launch of a new ISO 20022 message adapter, enabling financial institutions to instruct tokenized deposits through standard payment messages; financial institutions participating in the Swift project have already used Digital Asset Haven to test tokenized deposits. The Swift shared ledger supports banks in issuing tokenized deposits and enables participating institutions to conduct 24/7 digital asset transfers and final settlement. IBM has also launched a beta version of an on-premises deployment of Digital Asset Haven that can run on IBM Z and LinuxONE, allowing customers to manage stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and other digital assets without relying on public clouds. The key management layer runs in the customer's own environment and is protected by IBM Crypto Express hardware security modules.
Uniswap founder Hayden posted on X, stating that one of the biggest misconceptions in the DeFi space is that DEX aggregators have eliminated the distribution advantages of AMMs. Listing a token on Uniswap is like being simultaneously listed on all global exchanges for free, something other AMMs cannot achieve.
According to a research report released by Binance Research, approximately 11% of illicit cryptocurrency transaction volume was seized in 2025—55 times the global fiat recovery rate (less than 1%). Even after excluding the single Prince Group case involving roughly $15 billion worth of BTC, the remaining seized amount still stands at about 10 times the fiat baseline. Data from on-chain security firms SlowMist and PeckShield shows that between 8.3% and 13.2% of stolen funds were recovered or frozen in 2025, reflecting continuously improving collaboration efficiency among exchanges, stablecoin issuers, and law enforcement agencies. Binance Research notes that blockchain’s inherent transparency is being fully leveraged by regulators and investigators, and the notion that “cryptocurrency is a breeding ground for illicit activity” is gradually becoming an outdated misconception.
