Odaily News, Swiss cantonal bank BancaStato has launched regulated cryptocurrency trading services, utilizing the systems of digital asset bank Sygnum and banking software provider Avaloq. The bank serves the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino in Switzerland. BancaStato has joined Sygnum's B2B banking platform, integrating Sygnum's trading and custody services into its existing Avaloq banking system. Clients can buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, and SOL via the bank's web and mobile banking applications. Sygnum's B2B platform is already used by over 25 financial institutions, with its banking partners including Societe Generale-FORGE, PostFinance, and VZ Depotbank. In late June, Sygnum announced that its Liechtenstein subsidiary, Sygnum Europe AG, had obtained a license as a crypto asset service provider under the MiCA framework.

Société Générale will issue tokenized structured securities—such as Turbo warrants and investment certificates—on its Seturion platform. SG-Forge, which holds a crypto-asset market operator authorization from French regulators, will use its CoinVertible euro and U.S. dollar stablecoins (EURCV and USDCV) for transaction settlement. Meanwhile, flatexDEGIRO will connect the platform to its European retail distribution channels for tokenized securities trading.
: Boerse Stuttgart Digital has completed its merger with institutional crypto trading firm Tradias, following the completion of the required ownership control procedures. The merger forms a digital asset infrastructure division with approximately 300 employees. The combined business will operate under the Boerse Stuttgart Digital name, while Tradias will continue as a brand for trading services. The division will offer trading, custody, staking, and tokenization services, with headquarters in Frankfurt and Stuttgart, as well as locations in Athens, Beirut, Berlin, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, and Ljubljana. Tradias founder Christopher Beck and Boerse Stuttgart Digital Managing Director Ulli Spankowski will serve as co-CEOs. Boerse Stuttgart Digital serves institutional clients including DZ Bank, DekaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Société Générale-FORGE; Tradias clients include flatexDEGIRO, dwpbank, and European government agencies. Tradias provides trading and market-making services for more than 150 cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to Bloomberg, Societe Generale-FORGE, the digital asset division of Societe Generale SA, announced in collaboration with blockchain company Consensys that the U.S. dollar stablecoin USD CoinVertible is now available on the self-custodial crypto wallet MetaMask. This initiative marks a significant effort by traditional banks to expand the reach of digital currencies into the cryptocurrency space. Users can now directly access and manage USD CoinVertible tokens within their MetaMask wallets.
