According to Decrypt, MoonPay has announced the acquisition of AI trading startup Dawn Labs and officially launched its AI-native trading product, Dawn CLI. This platform enables users to build and execute automated trading strategies via natural language prompts—no development or quantitative trading expertise required. Initially, the product supports the prediction market platform Polymarket, with plans to expand to additional trading platforms and asset types. Dawn CLI employs a local, non-custodial wallet and auditable strategy code to mitigate potential risks associated with AI agents executing trades. This acquisition marks MoonPay’s latest move in building AI infrastructure, following its earlier launch of the stablecoin debit card MoonAgents Card for AI agents, an open-source wallet standard, and its acquisition of crypto key management firm Sodot.
According to Decrypt, publicly traded Bitcoin mining company TeraWulf (WULF) released its Q1 2026 financial results, reporting a net loss of $427 million for the quarter—significantly higher than the $61.4 million net loss in the same period last year. Total revenue amounted to $34 million, of which AI high-performance computing (HPC) revenue accounted for 60%, or approximately $21 million—a 117% sequential increase. In contrast, Bitcoin mining revenue declined by 50% sequentially to roughly $13 million, marking the first time AI compute revenue has surpassed mining revenue. The company previously signed a 25-year lease agreement with FluidStack, valued at approximately $9.5 billion in total, and has received Google’s endorsement.
: The Solana Foundation and Google Cloud have jointly launched the AI payment gateway Pay.sh, allowing AI agents to pay for API services on a per-request basis using Solana on-chain stablecoins, eliminating the need for traditional account systems. The system is built on the x402 protocol and supports the Machine Payments Protocol developed by Tempo and Stripe.Currently, AI agents can access Google Cloud services such as Gemini, BigQuery, and VertexAI through Pay.sh. The platform also supports AI tools including Anthropic Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and OpenClaw, along with over 50 community API providers. Additionally, it integrates infrastructure and data services such as Helius, Alchemy, Dune Analytics, and Nansen. (Decrypt)
According to Decrypt, American Bitcoin, a mining company affiliated with the Trump family, has deployed 11,298 Bitcoin miners at its Drumheller facility in Alberta, Canada, adding 3.05 EH/s of hash rate and bringing its total in-house hash rate to 28.1 EH/s across 89,242 devices. Following the announcement, ABTC’s stock rose over 13% during Wednesday’s pre-market trading. American Bitcoin stated that this deployment completes its previously announced expansion plan and that the average energy efficiency of its current in-house miners is 16.0 J/TH.
According to Decrypt, Mozilla recently revealed that Anthropic’s latest AI model, Claude Mythos, identified 271 security vulnerabilities during internal testing of the Firefox browser; all related vulnerabilities were patched this week. For comparison, a previous Anthropic model had detected only 22 security-sensitive vulnerabilities. Mozilla stated that all discovered vulnerabilities fell within the scope of what top human researchers could identify. Claude Mythos was officially launched in March 2026 and is Anthropic’s most powerful model to date for reasoning, coding, and cybersecurity. It is currently available exclusively to vetted partners—including Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft—under Anthropic’s “Project Glasswing” initiative.
According to Decrypt, Rick Wurster, President and CEO of Charles Schwab, stated that the company may offer prediction market services in the future—but will focus on financial-event-related contracts, such as those tied to inflation, while avoiding themes like pop culture, politics, and sports. Earlier reports indicated that Charles Schwab plans to launch Bitcoin and Ethereum trading services within the coming weeks, with a flat transaction fee of 0.75% per trade. The company also intends to gradually expand its cryptocurrency business, including enabling digital asset deposits and withdrawals, and broadening the range of supported tokens.
According to Decrypt, Blockstream CEO Adam Back stated at Paris Blockchain Week that he supports advancing Bitcoin’s quantum resistance upgrade on an opt-in basis, opposing proposals to forcibly freeze quantum-vulnerable addresses. He emphasized that “preparation well in advance is far safer than scrambling to respond during a crisis,” and noted that the Bitcoin community possesses strong coordination capabilities to rapidly address critical vulnerabilities. Previously, developer Jameson Lopp and five others proposed BIP-361 (“Post-Quantum Migration and Legacy Signature Sunset”), which advocates phasing out quantum-vulnerable addresses over five years and ultimately freezing coins held in unmigrated addresses—including approximately 1.7 million bitcoins held by Satoshi Nakamoto.
Odaily News Institutional-grade quantitative AI trading platform AlphaNet announced the completion of a $10 million seed round funding. The round was led by private equity firm Joffre Capital, with participation from Huashan Capital and an Asian quantitative trading consortium. This funding will support its transition from an invitation-only whitelist model to a public platform launch. It is reported that AlphaNet was incubated by Asian proprietary trading firm Tensor Investment and is positioned as an institutional-grade "systematic alpha" trading platform, aiming to provide retail users with trading capabilities previously accessible only to institutions. According to Decrypt, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis stated that the Senate is expected to release the revised draft text on stablecoin yield distribution this week. Currently, banks and crypto firms are divided over whether cryptocurrency exchanges should be permitted to pay yields to stablecoin holders through reward programs—a dispute that has stalled the legislative progress of the Clarity Act. The White House Council of Economic Advisers recently released a report stating that banning stablecoin yields would have a negligible impact on small banks, boosting bank lending by only 0.02%. However, the American Bankers Association contends that this analysis underestimates the risks. Observers note that if the draft provisions are overly restrictive, users and liquidity could shift to other jurisdictions that permit such yields.
According to Decrypt, Enhanced Labs Inc., an on-chain structured yield protocol, has announced the completion of a $1 million strategic pre-seed funding round, led by Maximum Frequency Ventures, with participation from GSR, Selini, Flowdesk, and several angel investors. The funds raised will be used for product development and operational infrastructure. Enhanced’s product strategy centers on three key directions: optimizing auction mechanisms to enhance yield competitiveness; extending options-based yield strategies to a broader range of on-chain assets—including tokenized real-world assets (RWAs); and simplifying complex strategies into goal-oriented user experiences that allow users to directly define desired outcomes such as yield targets, hedging objectives, or structured exposures. Enhanced positions itself at the intersection of the on-chain yield and options narratives—a sector currently experiencing an unusually active cycle in DeFi options since 2024.
According to Decrypt, stablecoin issuer Tether has announced the launch of its open-source software development kit (SDK), the QVAC SDK, enabling AI applications to run directly on-device without relying on cloud servers. The SDK supports iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. Built on the llama.cpp fork QVAC Fabric, it enables text generation, speech processing, visual recognition, and translation. It leverages the Holepunch protocol stack to facilitate peer-to-peer model distribution and delegated inference. Tether plans to integrate decentralized training and fine-tuning capabilities in future updates, and will release specialized toolkits for robotics and brain-computer interfaces.
