Odaily News — Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on X that Bloomberg Terminal today launched a stablecoin feature called RWAS, with on-chain data support provided by Allium. The feature covers more than 70 stablecoins across multiple blockchain networks, accounting for approximately 98% of the stablecoin market, and updates hourly with tracking of supply, minting and burning, transfers, and velocity.

Smart money traders had established short positions before the IPO and profited, with most continuing to hold or even increasing their positions. Wallets from the US and Hong Kong were the most long, while wallets from South Korea were the most short. Most long positions came from traders who newly joined Hyperliquid over the past weekend.

So far in fiscal year 2026, approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card transaction volume comes from business and commercial card programs.Mark Nelsen, Visa's Global Head of Product, Commercial, and Money Movement Solutions, said that businesses are seeking trustworthy and reliable ways to move money, and stablecoins are increasingly appearing in commercial applications such as supplier payments, treasury operations, and cross-border commerce. Allium research shows that payments are the fastest-growing use case for stablecoins, with annual payment volume estimated at $401 billion to $527 billion, of which service fees, payroll, and supplier payments account for $56 billion, $43 billion, and $28 billion respectively, with B2B cross-border payments making up 43%.

Crypto projects buy back nearly $640 million in tokens this year, with Hyperliquid and pump.fun accounting for nearly 90%.

According to the Financial Times, crypto projects have spent nearly $640 million this year buying back their own tokens to counter sustained market weakness and stabilize token prices. Data from Allium Labs shows that buyback spending reached $638 million year-to-date, up from $545 million during the same period last year, and a mere $366,000 for all of 2024. Combined, Hyperliquid and pump.fun accounted for nearly 90% of the total buyback amount.
