The largest BTC short on Hyperliquid closed BTC short positions for a $1.65 million profit and opened a 40x leveraged long position.
According to monitoring by on-chain analyst The Data Nerd (@OnchainDataNerd), the previously largest on-chain BTC short address, 0x66f8, has closed all 2136 BTC (approximately $136 million) short positions today, profiting $1.65 million. It subsequently quickly reversed positions, going long 200.82 BTC (approximately $12.74 million) with 40x leverage, completing a one-time shift from the most steadfast short to a leveraged long.
