According to Digital Asset, South Korea’s long-standing major insurer Kyobo Life and Japan’s SBI Group have completed a Korea-Japan cross-border stablecoin validation project. Utilizing the Canton Network testnet, the initiative enables direct conversion between JPY stablecoins and KRW stablecoins without requiring the US dollar as an intermediary currency.
