Source: www.prnewswire.com
According to PR Newswire, AI data center company Hyperscale Data (NYSE: GPUS) announced it has completed the sale of approximately 685 Bitcoins, realizing approximately $43 million based on recent market prices. The proceeds will be primarily used for the continued development and expansion of the Michigan data center, while also repaying approximately $30 million in debt to optimize the capital structure. Following the sale, the company currently still holds approximately 275 Bitcoins. Company Executive Chairman Todd Ault stated that this move is a capital allocation decision and does not signify abandoning the long-term Bitcoin accumulation strategy; the company will continue to engage in Bitcoin mining and plans to gradually rebuild its Bitcoin holdings over time.
