BitMEX Announces Termination of Exchange Operations, Retains Login and Withdrawal Features

BitMEX announced that its exchange operations officially ceased on September 23, 2026, at 04:00 UTC. The platform currently still supports login and withdrawals, and urges users to withdraw their available balances as soon as possible. BitMEX stated that deposits will no longer be credited, and users should not continue transferring funds to the platform addresses; for balances remaining on the platform, verified users will be charged a fee of 1% annually or an equivalent of $50 (whichever is higher), billed monthly.
