Grayscale Introduces Direct Digital Asset Subscription Feature for 10 Crypto ETPs, Allowing Investors to Exchange Crypto Assets for Fund Shares

Grayscale announced that it has now launched direct digital asset creation functionality for its 10 crypto ETPs, allowing investors to directly exchange eligible digital assets for corresponding product shares without first having to sell their crypto holdings and convert them to cash. Grayscale stated that this mechanism can reduce self-custody burdens, potentially decrease trade execution costs, and make it easier for investors to incorporate digital assets into traditional portfolio management.
