New York Attorney General Seeks $1.3 Billion from NovaTech Founders; Four Promoters Permanently Banned from Industry

According to The Block, New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking $1.3 billion from NovaTech founders Cynthia Petion and Eddy Petion following a court default judgment. The order was issued after the couple left the United States. According to the Attorney General’s office, four promoters must return nearly $6 million in illegal proceeds and are permanently barred from the securities, commodities, and cryptocurrency industries.
