Protocol Labs Stops Funding Renewal, Shipyard Will Cease IPFS-Related Maintenance Work on September 30
According to Cointelegraph, PFS maintainer Shipyard stated that due to Protocol Labs not renewing its funding support, it will cease engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure operations on September 30. Affected projects include Kubo, Helia, Boxo, Rainbow, IPFS Desktop, and IPFS Companion, among others, while related public infrastructure such as ipfs.io, dweb.link, delegated-ipfs.dev, and IPFS bootstrap nodes will also stop being operated by Shipyard.
