OpenAI moves to dismiss Apple trade secret lawsuit, claims allegations are baseless

According to Bloomberg, OpenAI has filed a motion in federal court to dismiss the trade secret theft lawsuit brought by Apple Inc. OpenAI's lawyers stated that Apple's allegations are grossly inaccurate and misrepresent the conduct of the relevant employees: its hardware business executive fully complied with industry-standard hiring practices when interviewing Apple employees, while another employee accused of "theft" was actually assisting their former colleague at Apple with matters. The case is currently still pending, and the judge has not yet issued a ruling.
