Canaan announced that it mined 44 bitcoins in September 2026, holding 1,875 BTC on its balance sheet as of the end of the month, with an installed hashrate of 10 EH/s for non-joint venture projects. Its 8-megawatt district heating project in Northern Europe is fully operational, utilizing mining waste heat to provide heating for approximately 2,800 households. The aforementioned bitcoin production excludes joint venture outputs.
