A man in Montpellier, France, has once again been targeted by a cryptocurrency ransomware attack, and police have arrested three suspects.

According to French media Midi Libre journalist Fabien Arnaud, early on September 29, a resident of Saint-Jean-de-Védas near Montpellier, France, fell victim to a cryptocurrency-related home invasion and extortion attack. Police quickly responded to the incident and have taken three suspects into custody. It is reported that the victim was previously subjected to a similar violent cryptocurrency extortion attempt on April 11 this year.
