BIT: Bitcoin 7-day implied volatility fell to 25%, at a historical low
According to analysis by BIT Official Chinese (@BITofficial_CN), Bitcoin's 7-day implied volatility has fallen below the 30% threshold to 25%, similar to the low volatility period in the summer of 2023. Against the backdrop of relatively low option prices, analysts suggest investors consider the "spot substitution strategy"—selling a portion of Bitcoin spot holdings and replacing them with bull call spreads or directly buying call options, which not only retains upside exposure but also limits the maximum loss to the option premium if prices continue to fall, while the released funds can also generate interest elsewhere.
