China-led blockchain international standard project initiated at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

According to CCTV News reports, the international standard led by China, "Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology - Technical Framework and Functional Requirements for Blockchain as a Service," was successfully approved as a project at the International Organization for Standardization recently. Countries including Germany, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Uganda will send representatives to participate in its formulation.
