Meta-owned Facebook launches "Your Algorithm" feature, using artificial intelligence to customize dynamic feed recommendation algorithms.

According to The Verge, Meta announced it is introducing the "Your Algorithm" feature, previously launched on Instagram, to Facebook, allowing users to directly add and manage topics they wish to browse in their Feed and Reels through artificial intelligence. Users can select "Interested" or "Not Interested" via post menus or buttons, and recommended content will update in real time based on feedback. Meta stated that the feature leverages large language models (LLMs) to understand the interests, context, and intent behind natural language, further optimizing the content ranking system to enable users to make immediate, dynamic adjustments to the recommendation algorithm through natural language interactions.
