Barcelona VC Platform Masia Closes €18 Million First Fund, Will Invest in Early-Stage AI and Frontier Tech Companies

According to EU-Startups, Barcelona venture capital platform Masia has announced the closing of its initial €18 million fund, which will invest in early-stage AI and frontier technology companies tied to Barcelona. The fund has secured backing from over 70 limited partners, including tech founders, corporate executives, and seasoned investors, alongside two institutional investors. At the same time, Masia has launched Masia House in Barcelona’s Gràcia district, a four-story, 1,000-square-meter facility providing office space, meeting rooms, accommodation for visiting investors, and a terrace for events.
