The Clearing House Selects Quant to Support Tokenized Deposit Clearing Network
According to an official announcement on The Clearing House's website, The Clearing House has selected programmable currency infrastructure provider Quant to jointly advance the On-Chain Money Initiative. The initiative aims to build an interoperable payment network that enables financial institutions of all sizes to clear and settle tokenized deposit transactions, while integrating with existing fiat payment systems, including the RTP® and CHIPS® networks.
Quant will be responsible for providing the network’s interoperability, orchestration, and transaction management layer, supporting instant settlement and condition-triggered automated payments to reduce manual operations and delays for bank and corporate clients. The network is expected to open to participating institutions in the first half of 2027, with application scenarios covering corporate treasury management, liquidity management, cross-border payments, and digital asset settlement.
