Odaily News: Recently, Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han gave an exclusive interview to Fortune, sharing Gate's strategic thinking on evolving from a crypto asset trading platform into an integrated financial services application. During TOKEN2049 Singapore, Gate officially launched Gate Money, with "One Gate, Everything Money" as its core concept, bringing together fiat currency, digital assets, stocks, ETFs, gold, bank accounts, and payment services on a single platform. Users in eligible regions can open a global bank account in their own name online, and in the future will also be able to receive payments in more than 60 local currencies; Gate Card connects assets with consumption scenarios, enabling multiple asset types, including fiat currency, digital assets, tokenized gold, and stocks, to be used more flexibly for everyday payments. Gate Money also supports QR code payments via local payment codes in certain countries and regions.Dr. Han stated that, building on Gate's long-accumulated capabilities in trading, liquidity, and asset services, Gate Money expands fund management and real-world payment scenarios. In his vision: "In users' minds, assets are inherently a whole. Even if they exist in five different forms, they should be managed in a unified way within one app." Therefore, Gate Money aims to let users complete holding, trading, exchange, yield management, and spending within the same account, and to provide more options for flows between different asset forms, rather than making judgments for users.Currently, Gate serves more than 61 million users worldwide, covering over 130 countries and regions. Looking ahead to the next five years, Dr. Han expects the tokenization of traditional assets to continue advancing, and AI Agents to further change how users manage and use funds. From serving traders to connecting broader capital needs, Gate is extending its digital asset capabilities into more complete financial life scenarios.
