BitMEX Sued by Former Investors for Illegal Sale of Derivatives, Claiming £20 Million
According to The Guardian, HDR Global Trading Limited, the operator of cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, has been sued by former investor Lewis Barber in the UK High Court over allegations that it sold cryptocurrency derivatives to UK investors without authorization from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), with a claim valued at £20 million.
