Because on-chain funds exposed on public ledgers carry historical transaction records, different tokens may not be fully fungible due to variations in their origins; privacy mechanisms can minimize the impact of fund history on holders, enhancing fungibility, liquidity, and safe-haven properties. He believes that, combined with quantum-resistant security and performance upgrades, privacy will become a critical foundation for Zcash’s monetary attributes.
