AliExpress and Tmall Launch "Global Growth Plan for Chinese Brands" to Incubate Over 100 AI Hardware Brands

According to Security Times, Alibaba's AliExpress and the domestic e-commerce platform Tmall jointly launched the "Global Growth Plan for Chinese Brands" on October 19, introducing seven support measures targeting leading brands, emerging AI hardware brands, and factory brands. AliExpress plans to make angel-round investments in select AI hardware brands, combined with operational support from Brand+ and Tmall, with the goal of incubating over 100 AI hardware brands. AliExpress stated that sales in its AI hardware category doubled year-on-year from January to July 2026.
