According to Yonhap News, Korean game company Nexus (넥써쓰) announced its 2026 first-half performance: total revenue for the first half was 17.4 billion won, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%; an operating loss of 5.3 billion won was recorded in the second quarter due to increased operational investment, but driven by one-time gains from the One Store acquisition, net profit reached 8.1 billion won, achieving a turnaround from loss to profit.
Strategically, Nexus will leverage its domestic app store One Store to fully enter the AI and blockchain game platform sector: a new "AI Games" zone will be added in August, introducing AI-generated game content, and the blockchain wallet "ONEpocket" will be embedded within the app; the global version of One Store equipped with blockchain technology will be launched at the end of August, simultaneously covering 124 countries.
