Revolut experiences a major service outage, affecting both its app and in-store card payments.
According to The Independent, UK digital bank Revolut experienced a widespread service outage on October 20, disrupting both mobile app access and card payments at physical retail locations. In a post on X, Revolut stated that multiple features are currently experiencing service disruptions and some services may be inaccessible, while its engineering team is working urgently to restore operations and has apologized to users. On social media, individuals across the UK, France, and Spain reported being unable to process payments or transfers. As of the time of publication, Revolut's official system status page still displayed "all systems operational," and it remains unclear whether the outage affected all users.
