Compound Foundation Exposed for Misappropriating 8.42 Million DAI to Manipulate Governance Votes
According to disclosures by Compound community member ugurmersin, the Compound Foundation is suspected of violating the strict provisions of Proposal #536. The proposal originally assigned 8.42 million DAI from the DAO's reserves to the Foundation for management, explicitly stipulating that the funds could only be used to support protocol operations, strictly prohibiting proprietary trading or speculation, and forbidding their use to fund the Foundation's own business.
