Ostium Announces Second-Phase Compensation Plan Design: Offers Two Options Including USDC Installment Payouts and Equity Conversion

Source: x.com Event types: Online/Update 、 Financing/Fundraising
Ostium has released an update on the design of its Phase II Loss Compensation Plan for Liquidity Providers (OLP). Designed for users with losses exceeding 1,000 USDC who did not select the Convenience Allocation, the plan offers two compensation mechanisms: Default Option A (USDC Installment Repayment): Funding sources include funds already recovered and those to be recovered in the future (distributed proportionally after deducting the Phase I portion), specific revenue shares from the Ostium protocol and Gateway income (initially set at 50% of Ostium's opening position fees), and potential partner incentives or revenue sharing. 2. Optional Option B (Ostium Labs Equity Conversion): Eligible users complying with securities regulations may, in the next priced funding round, convert a portion of their outstanding losses into Ostium Labs equity based on that round's valuation. The share class will align with that of the team, and a fully diluted cap is established for the total ownership percentage of participating users.
