Coinbase Forms Strategic Partnership with Thunes to Integrate Stablecoins and Global Fiat Payments

According to an October 19 announcement by Coinbase and Thunes, the two parties have reached a strategic partnership to integrate stablecoin infrastructure with a global fiat payment network, supporting corporate cross-border payments, gig economy payroll disbursements, and personal international remittances. Under the agreement, Coinbase will connect to Thunes' Direct Global Network, enabling users to receive cross-border payments via local bank accounts and mobile wallets; Thunes will, in turn, adopt Coinbase's stablecoin infrastructure.
