Adam Aron once again calls out Robinhood CEO: Don't openly defy the SEC; overseas tokenized stocks should also retain voting rights.
AMC CEO Adam Aron once again called out Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and Chief Legal Officer Dan Gallagher in a post on X, stating that Robinhood had previously expressed support for the SEC's position on tokenized U.S. stocks, maintaining that tokenized shares should carry voting rights and allow companies to opt out. He noted that it would be highly "hypocritical" if Robinhood fails to adopt the same principles in its overseas business, and urged them not to go against the SEC's stance, saying, "Do not openly defy and challenge the SEC."
