Alibaba Unveils ZhenWu V900 AI Chip, Supporting Large-Scale Data Center Construction
Alibaba Group has launched the new Zhenwu V900 AI accelerator, claiming its performance reaches three times that of the previous generation. It aims to compete with NVIDIA while supporting data center capacity expansion for years to come. Developed by its T-Head division, the chip can form clusters of up to 500,000 chips for frontier model training.
