In an open letter, Evan Cheng, co-founder of Sui developer Mysten Labs, announced that company president Kevin Boon will take over as CEO, while he transitions to CTO and leads the newly established AI business unit. The unit will focus on AI agent trust products and AI-native infrastructure, backed by independent engineering, product development, and other teams, with related products and services to be built on Sui and Walrus.
