Chainlink officially launches the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol CCIP 2.0, supporting customizable security verification mechanisms.
Chainlink has officially launched version 2.0 of the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP 2.0). Building on the existing network of 16 independent validator nodes, the new version allows institutions and developers to add custom security checks during cross-chain asset and information transfers. It supports operating independent validators or integrating third-party service providers such as Infosys and Nethermind to reduce single-point-of-failure risks in cross-chain bridges.
