According to Caixin, following the freezing of several London properties owned by Prince Group founder Chen Zhi and Hu Xiaowei, who is described as the group's "second-in-command," Li Tian, the group's finance chief, also had his London mansion valued at 170 million yuan and his luxury watches frozen by British authorities. Previously, when the US Department of the Treasury announced sanctions against Prince Group and its affiliated individuals, it listed Li Tian as a close associate of Chen Zhi, alleging that he effectively served as the CFO for the group’s illicit financial operations, overseeing illegal fund flows and large-scale cash smuggling.
