Bitwise CIO: Bitcoin Will Ultimately Benefit Regardless of AI's Trajectory
According to The Block, Bitwise Chief Information Officer Matt Hougan stated that regardless of whether AI development drives economic prosperity, investment bubbles burst, or growth remains modest, Bitcoin will ultimately benefit. Hougan noted that if AI collapses, it may temporarily drag Bitcoin lower in the short term, but government bailouts and monetary expansion policies will ultimately drive a rebound in Bitcoin.
