ESMA Proposes Recommendations on MiCA Revisions: Plans to Introduce New DeFi Entry Regulatory Category and Strengthen Stablecoin Regulation

ESMA has submitted to the European Commission a proposal to amend MiCA, which would establish a new category of regulated crypto services for entities providing access points to DeFi protocols, while strengthening regulatory requirements for staking, crypto lending, and services related to non-compliant stablecoins.
