Binance single-day outflow exceeds 13,800 BTC, marking the largest outflow since 2023

According to Darkfost, throughout Bitcoin's recent rally, Binance has predominantly experienced BTC outflows, averaging a net outflow of approximately 2,000 BTC per day over the past week. Notably, Binance recorded a single-day net outflow exceeding 13,800 BTC, marking the largest single-day net outflow since 2023. Over the past four days, the platform's BTC reserves declined from approximately 705,000 to 685,000, a reduction of roughly 20,000 BTC. Darkfost noted that sustained BTC outflows from exchanges typically indicate that some investors are transferring assets to self-custody, which often aligns with longer-term holding strategies while also mitigating potential selling pressure on the exchange. He believes that this recent large-scale outflow activity likely signals that investors who were previously waiting for further Bitcoin declines have begun to experience FOMO.
