France proposes expanding MiCA regulation, requiring crypto platforms to bear responsibility for certain DeFi events.

According to Cointelegraph, the French Ministry of Finance, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), the Bank of France, and the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) have jointly proposed revisions to MiCA, advocating for additional obligations to be imposed on crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) that actively provide users with access to DeFi protocols.
