Reddit Tests AI Voice Feature, Automatically Converting Forum Posts into Audio and Video Content

According to The Verge, Reddit is conducting a new experiment to automatically convert text posts and comments on the platform into audio-video content using AI voice technology. During video playback, the text being read aloud is highlighted synchronously and labeled "Real conversation dubbed by AI". Users can freely switch between "Read" and "Play" modes via the toggle button at the top of the page.
