According to POLITICO, Joel Greenberg, a shareholder of Circle Internet Group, filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court on October 22 against President Donald Trump and World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency project co-founded by him and his family, alleging that Trump violated the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution through two transactions involving the United Arab Emirates, which prohibits accepting benefits from foreign governments without congressional approval.
