OKX Files with SEC to Launch Tokenized US Stock Trading Platform, Plans to Initially Support 63 NYSE-Listed Stocks
Odaily News: OKX has filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a tokenized stock trading platform, becoming one of the first major crypto exchanges to leverage new U.S. regulations that allow digital versions of public company shares to be traded on crypto platforms.OKX ICE LLC, a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, plans to apply to provide tokenized stock trading services for 63 NYSE-listed companies. Under the SEC's new framework, relevant issuers have 30 days to opt out, after which tokenized stock trading can commence. (Bloomberg)
